Part of the project coordinated by Troufa Real, architect.

Motivated by the relationship with the hallmarks of port activities in the riverside zone (ships, cranes, containers and wagons), the proposed urban equipment declines sophisticated detail and claims the expression of low-tech construction: standard rolled profiles, iron plate, visible welding. It is a “design chão” that starts from the contexto and transforms it to suit other purposes. Similarly, the design of the roads, the terrain and the railings on the wharf were intended to prolong the telluric sense of the existing environment, to adapt it to the new demands and to enhance the leisure experience of citizens.
