Interior Architecture and furniture of the grill and the pool coffee shop.
Alvor Praia was one of the first luxury hotels resulting from the tourist development in the Algarve, which began in the second half of the 1960s.
Daciano was responsible for the design of the coffee shop and grill restaurant, also treated as autonomous environments and characterized by their own benchmarks.
Later, for the interior design project of Casa da Música (2004-2005), Daciano da Costa proposes a total wooden version for the Alvor chair, in order to accentuate and highlight the lines of the model, and the reissue of the green Alvor bench.
For the interior furniture for Casa da Música (2004-2005), designed by the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, the architect elects Daciano da Costa’s furniture designed for the Villaret Theatre (1964-1965), the Alvor Hotel (1966-1968), the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (1966-1969/1999/2004), the Altis Hotel (1971-1974), the Cultural Center of Belém (1990-1992) and the Coliseu dos Recreios (1993-1994).
